WOODBOROUGH’s planned Diamond Jubilee Festivities today, Sunday 3 June 2012, have been cancelled because of the weather.
Scheduled to be held on the Governor’s Field from 2pm to 6pm, and include a fancy dress parade and various games and other attractions, the event has falled foul of the wet weather.
A notice fixed to the gates at Governor’s Field reads:
So sorry everyone but bad weather strikes again and we have been forced to cancel today’s event here on the Governor’s Field.
We understand the obvious disappointment this will have caused but do hope you can anjoy the rest of the Jubilee celebrations.
