WOODBOROUGH Bridge Club held the first of its monthly seminars with George Ripley at the beginning of April.
The event was over-subscribed, but everyone was accommodated and an informative time was enjoyed by all says our correspondent Jane Hall.

The club also welcomed Andrew Urbanski, club liaison officer of the English Bridge Union (EBU), who came to hear about the club’s successes and concerns and to speak to members about the role of the EBU.
The last year has seen 14 new members join the club, some of them relatively inexperienced but all have reportedly settled in quickly.
