NOTTINGHAMSHIRE County Council is seeking ways to shave £2 million off the £30 million it spends on public transport each year, and is bringing its ‘consultation roadshow’ to our area next week.
This will outline plans for the council’s new transport proposals, which it says have been developed from the information gained from the first stage of consultation last year.
The roadshow will spend an hour in Lowdham from 11.30am on Monday 10 June 2013, and an hour in Woodborough from 2pm the same afternoon. The full local schedule is shown below (extracted from and linked to Notss CC website).
