Bridge club moves forward

Woodborough Bridge Club has provided a number of updates.

29 players attended the intermediate seminars which started in May, where the topic of opening and responding to ‘no trump’ calls was explored and practice hands played.

A charity bridge drive will take place in the autumn, having originally been scheduled for earlier. Those who had expressed an interest will be contacted nearer the time.

The club’s programme of monthly seminars starting has restarted and these are open to anyone and are suitable for improvers / intermediate standard.

Details of these and other activities are on the on the new club website, which has moved to the bridgewebs portal. This allows results to be published within seconds of being finalised, with instant hand and player analysis. The new address is bridgewebs.com/woodborough/

The club AGM will be held on Thursday 30 July 2015 at 7.15pm, followed by the regular bridge drive.
Visitors are welcome to attend any club session on Thursday evenings in the Village Hall.
