At its meeting on 10 May 2010, Woodborough Parish Council elected Richard Whincup as its new chairman. He succeeds Geoff Parkinson, who did not put himself forward for re-election.
Woodborough PC discussed planning applications, the playing field, and flood prevention measures among other items on its agenda. A request for financial support of £200 towards Woodborough’s entry in the Best Kept Village competition was deferred to the June meeting, to be held on 7 June at the village hall.
