NEXT Saturday, 14 April 2012, sees Woodborough Horticultural Society’s annual spring show which, of course, focuses heavily on daffodils and other spring flowers.

The show schedule, which can be downloaded below, includes comprehensive notes on exhibiting daffodils and is intended to show that anyone can have a go.
There are also classes for other spring flowers, floral art, and children’s categories – and WHS promises prizes for all youngsters.
The show includes plant and book stalls, and this year features RSPB products. There will also be tea and cakes, and a raffle. Exhibits need to be brought to Woodborough Village Hall and staged by 9.30am, and the show is open to the public 2pm-4pm.
