Christmas film night at Oxton Projection House

TWO feel-good have been selected for Oxton Projection House’s December programme on Saturday 15 December 2012.

Polar Express (U) starring Tom Hanks tells the story of a doubting boy and his magical journey to the North Pole on Christmas Eve. Doors open at 4.00pm for the showing at 4.30pm.

The second film is the 1946 black and white classic It’s A Wonderful Life (U) starring James Stewart. Doors open at 6.30pm and the film will be shown at 7.30pm.

The usual refreshments will be available in addition to free mince pies, for all, and mulled wine for adults.

Organisers report that the last two events in September and October (in the Green Dragon) were both sell outs, and people were turned away, so suggest tickets are obtained early to avoid disappointment.

Tickets are £2 for children, £3 for concessions, and £4 for adults, available in advance from the Oxton Village Shop, Ethel Cottee on 0115 9653477 or Roy Walker on 0115 9653595. Tickets on the day, if available, will incur an additional cost of £1.
