This family- friendly movie is set in mediaeval Scotland and charts the tale of a princess growing up in a male-dominated society. Billy Connolly is among the actors voicing parts.

This is the second time the Oxton Projection House project has staged a Scottish themed evening, which includes a meal of haggis, tatties, and neaps (Sassenachs may be offered mince or even a vegetarian option instead of haggis).

Refreshments including a licensed bar will be available, and a family-friendly Scottish-themed quiz rounds out the evening.

The film starts at 6.30pm (doors open 6.00), with food at 8.30pm. Tickets are £5 (£6 on the day, if available) including film and food, and are available from the Oxton Village Shop, Ethel Cottee on 0115 9653477 or Roy Walker on 0115 9653595.
