A new menu including regularly-changing special offers has been introduced, and various activities launched. A quiz night is held every Thursday at 8.30pm, followed by Sticky 13s (a popular local card game). Live music and karaoke are held twice a month.

Further events and theme nights will be introduced over the next couple of months, including bingo, poker nights, and an open mic night.

There is also a new golf society – contact Geoff on 0115 931 3906  for more information – and plans to set up a men’s dart team in readiness for the new season in October.

The pub has no website of its own as yet, but has a Facebook page (as does, of course).
